HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR COMPETITION LEOTARD

CARE OF YOUR LYCRA GARMENT DECORATED WITH SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS AND/OR GLITTER

INSTRUCTIONS

All glitter or foil fabric is subject to fading, crackling, flaking and/or peeling depending on chlorine, salt and perspiration sensitivity.

Cold hand wash with mild soap/detergent.

  • LINE DRY IN SHADE;
  • DO NOT BLEACH OR SOAK;
  • DO NOT IRON;
  • DO NOT TUMBLE DRY;
  • DO NOT DRY CLEAN;
  • DO NOT SPOT WASH AS IT WILL LEAVE A NOTICEABLE WATER MARK; AND
  • DO NOT RUB THE GARMENT WHEN RINSING.
  •

After each wear, hang the garment to air if it is not possible to rinse it. Perspiration will eventually

disintegrate the lycra if the garment is not rinsed.

The garment is best hanging on a children's coat hanger when not in use, NOT kept in a plastic bag - A hanging wardrobe is advisable.

Chemicals such as perfume, deodorant or tanning lotion will react with the foil on the back of the crystals and change their colour and cause the stones to fall off the garment.

Gymnasts should NOT eat or drink (other than water) in the garment. Even water can stain it so best to have a jacket on when drinking.

Junior Gymnasts – Please don’t wear anything under the leotard- No underwear

Senior Gymnasts should WEAR appropriate coloured underwear / body stocking (if you wish) with the garment. Please make sure we cant see your undergarments through the leotard.
